Bolanle (Bola) Johnson is an award-winning senior Leader and Certified Risk Professional, who brings a wealth of extensive expertise from within the banking and finance sector. She is widely recognised for her authentic and enthusiastic approach, whereby she excels in developing and implementing effective risk frameworks and policies. Fully equipped with leadership and communication abilities, these skills have enabled her to establish and lead high-performing teams, fostering a positive, risk-aware culture. She currently works as the Head of First Line of Defence (1LOD) Operational Risk at RBC Brewin Dolphin, where she leads teams of risk professionals in overseeing the delivery of operational risk expertise. 

Bola was named one of the winners of the first Black Women in Asset Management (BWAM) 40 Under 40 awards in 2022, which honoured black women who are impacting the industry’s future and a nominee in the 2023 City of London Wealth Management Awards (COLWA) for Best Diversity and Inclusion Champion
